Welcome to Scout versus Heavy, a blog dedicated to Team Fortress 2 and Gang Garrison 2. Gang Garrison 2 is a free 'demake' of Team Fortress which you can get here. It is a top-down shooter with a retro-art style, and uses slightly simpler, but similar mechanics.  I highly recommend both games.



For Gang Garrison 2, I suggest you also try out the GG2 randomizer mod found here. This mod incorporates mechanics from TF2 not found in vanilla GG2, such as customizable loadouts, multiple slots, and crits. This mod is absolutely brilliant.

The name of the blog 'Scout versus Heavy', comes from the natural rivalry between scouts and heavies. Scouts are small and fast, heavies are large and slow. In fan-made videos about TF2, the Scout is generally seen as the Heavy's nemesis, such as is seen here.
