Meet the Heavy

The Heavy does happen to be the slowest class in the game. He is also the largest class in the game, which gives him a massive pool of health (300), the most in the game. The Heavy is one of my personal favourites, as I can equip a minigun, click and hold, and if I can keep the cursor on my target, I would almost be guaranteed a kill.

The rather bland angry 'hibernating bear' take on the Heavy's personality in Meet the Heavy has been replaced by a more stupid, energetic Heavy in fan-made videos, such as Moments with Heavy, and Heavy's Mission to Mars.

I do not actually own any primary Heavy weapons, but I find the default can get many kills. My basic strategy is to start spinning with a right click when you may be going into a field of battle, and keep spinning a short while after the shoot off is complete to avoid wasting ammo. Wasting ammo with a minigun is very easy, and it is very easy to run out of it. If you find yourself low, visit a resupply cabinet as soon as you can: this is your first priority. In the meantime, use boxing gloves to punch out anyone near the resupply cabinet and use your Sandvich if you find yourself low on health. Alternatively, you could throw your Sandvich on the ground and pick it up again to restore ammo.

The Sandvich is probably the best secondary item a Heavy can have, if you don't have a medic buddy. It heals you to full health, but you can also throw it to heal your teammates as well. If you are in an important defensive position, then with Sandvich, you can heal without leaving your post. However, while Heavy is eating Sandvich, he is unable to move or attack, and he make loud munching noises, which may alert the other team to his presence. You may be forced to retreat slightly to a more secluded position to eat Sandvich. In fanmade videos , Sandvich is seen as the Heavy's ultimate goal. He is seen as doing anything to retrieve a Sandvich. He was one of the participants in the original food debate, participating with Sandvich.

I feel that the best boxing gloves to have equipped is the Killing Gloves of Boxing, which gives you crits if you kill an enemy with them. Then, I recommend using those crits with the fists, unless you have a shotgun equipped, in which case, use that.

The Heavy is prominent in many TF2 videos, some of which I will highlight later on.

Thanks for reading today's post. Have a nice day.
