We all knew it. The Pyromania update was just a diversion for what was to come. A diversion for the Man Versus Machine update. A third team will be added. A team of machines. The conflict between BLU and RED has ended, and the war against ROBOT has begun. Both the Scout and the Heavy watch the Engineer on the TF2 home page. The Engineer is a traitor. His grandfather was the one who built a life-extending machine for Gray Mann, the leader of the robots.
TF2 is about to go through a massive update. A change of story and pace. Perhaps this video can explain better than I:
