What does the Engineer have to do with the Robots?

Just look at the eyes of the Sniper. And the Scout. And the Heavy. And even the... Demoman? Maybe? Not really...

Meet the Pyro: First Impressions

I think everyone who watched Meet the Pyro can agree on many things, the most important and obvious of which is that the Pyro is insane. Someone who hasn't watched Meet the Pyro could simply say "We already knew the Pyro was insane!" People like that cannot understand....

Get Acquainted with the Overweight

The Overweight, like the Heavy, is the slowest largest and class in the game. Being only two dimensions to play in, he is somewhat of an obstacle for other classes, which makes him a good defensive class. He is ideally paired with a healer, and he has a large amount of health, more than any other classes.

His chain gun doesn't require spin up time, giving him more offensive potential than the Heavy. His health-restoring secondary items allow the Overweight to take more damage, making him good for defending against multiple waves of enemies.

Meet the Heavy

The Heavy does happen to be the slowest class in the game. He is also the largest class in the game, which gives him a massive pool of health (300), the most in the game. The Heavy is one of my personal favourites, as I can equip a minigun, click and hold, and if I can keep the cursor on my target, I would almost be guaranteed a kill.

The rather bland angry 'hibernating bear' take on the Heavy's personality in Meet the Heavy has been replaced by a more stupid, energetic Heavy in fan-made videos, such as Moments with Heavy, and Heavy's Mission to Mars.

Get Acquainted with the Runner

The Runner is the Gang Garrison 2 counterpart of the Scout. Like the Scout, the runner is extremely fast, and can also double jump. While the Scout and the Runner are usually offensive classes, if a Runner equips the Rundown in their primary slot (exclusive to GG2 randomizer mod), they become a brilliant defensive class, with their maneuverability increasing with each kill.

Meet the Scout

The scout, as you probably already know, is the fastest class in Team Fortress 2. This, combined with their remarkable ability to double jump, makes them one of the most maneuverable classes in the game.

In the Meet the Scout, the scout is portrayed as very arrogant. In fan-made videos, the scout is still shown as arrogant, although more critical of other people's actions. This is probably because the phrases the fans have to build the video with are mostly those that the scout have to use in battle; in Meet the Scout, he is asked to describe himself.

Welcome to Scout versus Heavy!

Welcome to Scout versus Heavy, a blog dedicated to Team Fortress 2 and Gang Garrison 2. Gang Garrison 2 is a free 'demake' of Team Fortress which you can get here. It is a top-down shooter with a retro-art style, and uses slightly simpler, but similar mechanics.  I highly recommend both games.
